Mark3D GmbH
About us
With materials such as fiberglass, carbon or Kevlar, real problems can be solved and components printed that previously could not be 3D printed but had to be manufactured mechanically. As a result of the changed manufacturing processes, components can be manufactured much more easily, often without designing them in accordance with additive requirements. Due to their property profile, fiber composite materials offer great potential for lightweight construction in vehicle and mechanical engineering. Additive manufacturing processes are particularly well suited to manufacturing highly complex load and weight-optimized structures that cannot be manufactured conventionally. Mark3D is your european partner for Markforged high-end 3D printers, materials, software and accessories. We will help you to find the right solution for your application from the range of composite and metal Markforged 3D printers.

Strong parts thanks to continuous fibre reinforcement
Continuous Filament Fabrication (CFF) is a patented technology that allows Markforged users to produce 3D printed components with extreme stability. With this technology, the continuous fibre is additionally inserted into the component via a second nozzle in the print head. It is called continuous fibre because it has only one start and one end point per layer. This allows you to achieve stabilities that are superior to milled aluminium in outstanding quality! Thanks to the supplied and optimally adjusted EIGER software, you can insert the continuous fibre individually per layer and, of course, also over the entire surface. Carbon, Kevlar, glass fibre and high-temperature glass fibre are available as continuous fibre reinforcement.

Markforged FX20 - Großformat 3D-Drucker
The FX20 is the largest, fastest, and most sophisticated 3D printer Markforged has ever created. Engineered from the ground up for unparalleled performance and reliability, the FX20 large format 3D printer takes our patented composites technology to a larger scale, creating new possibilities for new applications and industries. Capable of printing high-temperature thermoplastics with the continuous carbon fiber, it delivers high-strength aerospace-grade parts at the push of a button. Larger and heated installation space for your applications An even larger and heated installation space ensures components of the highest quality. Includes a heated build chamber capable of maintaining a temperature of up to 200°C. Prints up to 8x faster than the default print settings of existing Markforged composite printers. – Large material spools with 3200 cm² – 3 nozzle print head – Precision ground vacuum bed – Reusable print sheets – Touch screen interface Even more stable components with ULTEMTM 9085 filament Built for everything from high-performance tools and jigs to ready-to-fly production parts, the FX20 is the first 3D printer in the Markforged family to be able to reinforce ULTEM™ 9085 filament with continuous carbon fiber. The material is particularly characterized by its high heat and chemical resistance and also has the highest tensile and flexural strength. In addition, of course, the conventional materials can be printed such as Onyx, Onyx FR, Onyx ESD, Nylon White and a support material for ULTEM TM 9085, the ULTEM TM Filament Support. In the picture on the left is our colleague Jan Geese, Head of Application Engineering, with a feeding shoe from PLAN4 Engineering GmbH. The part was printed on the Markforged FX20 in around 66 hours with the dimensions 501 x 396 x 344 mm and 3160 cm³ Onyx. The “ULTEM™ and 9085 trademarks are used under license from SABIC, its affiliates or subsidiaries.

From construction to fully functional Metal parts in under 28 hours with the Markforged Metal X. Simple, yet powerful! The Metal X is one of the most intuitive metal 3D printers on the market. Print a wide range of materials from stainless steel to copper with minimal training in a closed workflow. Scaling capacity is easy; just add printers. Safe and inexpensive. The Metal X is designed to be safe to use and accessible to all users. Costs are many times less than DMLS metal 3D printing systems and require no dedicated operator, powder management system and minimal PPE. Quality parts, received quickly The Metal X is specifically designed for consistent part quality and a seamless user experience. Markforged combines superior software, materials research and an advanced drive system to deliver industrial quality parts quickly and reliably. The ADAM technology Atomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing – The Process of Markforged Metal X The Metal X uses innovative technology. The printing material consists of a very high concentration of metal powder bound in plastic and wax. It is then printed using the proven FFF / filament process - completely without metal dust. Debinding removes the wax content from the component. Atomic diffusion occurs through the subsequent sintering process. The end result is a homogeneous metal component.
