
Business Developer South Germany
This role is part of the DACH team and is responsible for building and expanding the southern German market – from acquiring new customers to maintaining existing relationships. Responsibilities include developing account plans, targeted outreach to potential customers based on their ideal customer profile, and reporting and forecasting to the Sales Manager. We are looking for someone with at least one year of sales experience, a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a technical affinity in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or cloud computing. IXON Cloud is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Developer for Southern Germany to drive the expansion of the Dutch IIoT company in one of Germany's strongest economic regions. This is a remote position, ideally based in the greater Stuttgart, Munich, or Nuremberg area. As part of the interdisciplinary DACH team – comprising Marketing, Solution Engineering, Product Support, and Account Management – you will assume full responsibility for sales management in your region. You will identify and acquire new customers throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract closure, while also nurturing existing customer relationships. Your daily tasks will include developing and implementing customized account plans to achieve sales targets, proactively contacting potential customers based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and actively incorporating market feedback to continuously optimize the sales strategy. You will also be responsible for the accuracy of sales forecasts and activity reports. The ideal candidate combines a strong "hunter" mentality with a technical affinity – ideally in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or cloud networks. At least one year of professional experience in a comparable sales role, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and fluency in German and English are required.
